1. Single Spring

2. Rubber bellow seals
Rubber bellow mechanical seal developed with rubber bellow are mainly used for water, oils and light duties applications. The rubber bellow seal is single acting and independent of direction of rotation.
3. Multi spring
Multi sprung seals are designed such that an even face load is applied over the face area but a number of compression springs. This results in higher pressure sealing capabilities. They are commonly used in petrochemical or chemical applications.
4. Teflon bellow
Teflon Bellow Seal designed to handle highly corrosive chemical, such as concentrated acids, caustic, strong oxidizing and reducing agents, and chemically active organic components. ... Hot oils are another high temperature sealing problem.
5. Reactor seals ( Housing seals)
These are factory assembled units used on mixtures,agitators and reaction vessels. The seals are designed for handling severe services including products emitting toxic vapours during reaction process.
